The “Discovery by” phenomenon is an annual tri-project venture specifically designed for children and young adults aged 5-18. Primarily executed during the July/August ( Summer ) vacation , this project amalgamates the artistic disciplines of Visual Arts, Dance, Musical Arts , Carnival arts and integrates all for a Caribbean Children’s theatre production.

While the Discovery camp program has been in existence for upwards of 20 years , the Discovery by Stage and Discovery by Design are more recent innovations in youth theatrical capacity development and technical theatre. In 2019, on the heels of Arts-in-Action’s 25th Anniversary, the company launched the Discovery by Stage Program where for the first time, youths 12-18 were given the opportunity to learn and perform an original piece of theatrical work with all the makings of conventional theatre.
